Give solid time and attention to completing the review. You wouldn't want someone rushing through an assessment of your performance. There is a lot at stake for the employee during a review. Respect that fact, and give it the care it deserves.
I completely agree. Prior to giving our employees a review, I took a half day off away from the office to collect my thoughts. Giving and receiving feedback about performance is important but it must be executed with extreme care. Michelle
